On Friday night, Tom and I decided to spend the weekend painting the cabinets - 27 doors, 13 drawers, 54 hinges with 5 screws each, 40 knobs, degloss, sanding, primer front, primer back, top coat, top coat, top coat, 3 McDonald's runs, 2 trips to the hardware store, 1 paint can spill on the tile floor, and a few hours of trying to figure out which door went where (I forgot to remind Tom to number the doors when he took them off) the kitchen cabinets are now white. Next step: oven, back splash and flooring. The new look makes the kitchen look much brighter.
(deglossing, priming, Nathan helping put doors back on)
You guys did a LOT of work, but it does look much more modern & bright. Bet it was worth all the trouble. Looks like Nate was HUGE help! ;)
