Tom, Alyssa and Nathan took part in the Thanksgiving fun run. Tom's friend Jason and his two boys, Weston and Devin also joined the group. Tom and Jason ran the 5K and the kids ran a shorter distance - approximately a quarter of a mile. Nathan's group was the first kids group to run. This group was supposed to run to the mascots which were halfway down the course but all the kids took off and ran right passed the mascots to the older kids finish line. All the parents were laughing at the mishap. We had to run to catch up with him at the new finish line. It was pretty funny.
