Who would have thought ring around the rosary would be so dangerous. The kids were playing on the trampoline when Isaac accidentally took a hard fall. He is usually pretty tough but after he refused to put any weight on it after several hours, I took him in to the urgent care. X-rays showed that he had a spiral fracture to his tibia on his left leg. They placed him in a temp splint to secure his leg until we could see the ortho doctor.
Today, Isaac went in to get his permanent cast. It is green, waterproof and hard as a rock. It goes up above his knee around his foot. He will have this one on for 4 weeks (scheduled to get it off the day after his birthday) He is already testing it against the floor registers, laughing when it makes a banging sound. He will be able to walk on this one and hopefully will figure out how to maneuver around quickly with it. He is already is scooting and crawling around now.
