Seattle vacation

We took a trip to Seattle with Oci and Marina for a Novacky family summer vacation. We celebrated Matthew's first communion on the first day. We spent time catching up with the entire family over the extended weekend. Alyssa, Benjamin and Matthew challenged Tom and Andrea on the wii. We also visited the aquarium and the Science Center and Andrea, Marina and I enjoyed a girls afternoon at the spa getting pedicures. (that was great!)

As a surprise for Oci's birthday, we signed up for a whale watching tour on the last day. We took a ferry to an island about 2 hours north of Seattle and then went out on a boat for the entire afternoon for our whale watching adventure. The weather was chilly on the water but we were prepared. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales but we did see starfish, dolphins and seals. One seal named Popeye, stayed by the marina enjoying the fish from visitors.
