Alyssa and Piper in the SUV

We went home to Maryville this weekend with the dogs, Piper and Cricket. Tom had taken out one of the middle seats in the Highlander so that we wouldn't have to put the dogs all the way in the bag with our stuff. The space in the middle beside Nathan was open for Piper to lay down in and look out the window. We had the third row up for Alyssa and Cricket beside her. It worked out well. However, just 15 minutes into the drive home, Cricket decided she wanted to lay in the big open area beside Nathan. Piper quickly eyed the open space beside Alyssa and sat with her the rest of the trip. It was a tight space for Piper but she was able to look outside easily, lay in the Cricket's bed like she does at home (yes its way too small for her but she likes it). It was so funny to see both Alyssa and Piper in the back row together, like best friends.
