We decided to enjoy the great weather outdoors by going to Shawnee Mission Park Friday afternoon. We strolled along the lake and decided to try out the paddle boats. It was Nathan's first time on the water. He didn't like the life jacket but stayed distracted by splashing in the water on the side of the paddle boat.
We also enjoyed the afternoon by going to the bowling alley for a few games. I won the first game, Tom the second. Alyssa bowled a strike and was not too far from 1st place on both games. Tom signed the family up for a summer bowling program so they have been trying to go whenever possible. Alyssa uses her own ball - a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends ball. She received it for her 6th birthday.
