We have been working for a few weeks on the kitchen/dining room project. The plan was to open up the space by knocking down the walls and the stairway to the downstairs playroom. We had some help in putting up the new beams to support the second floor. Tom finished the flooring while I was away on a work trip. This weekend we added the chair rail in the dining room and finished the majority of the painting with just a few touch ups to go. It makes the space look completely different.
