We decided to take the kids to a lake to swim instead of the local pool. We headed to Lawrence to swim at Clinton Lake. The area we went to was perfect for the kids to play in the sand and find sticks to build castles and moats. The water was shallow enough for the kids to have plenty of water to play in without going too deep. We look forward to going to more beaches next year.
